Education

We can't fix a problem if we don't know that it is there. One of the first steps to improving outcomes is to tell people about it! We educate citizens, students, and professors on how they can use technologies to learn about and promote awareness about their specific concerns.

Advocacy

Are you working to improve the outcomes in your local area? Have you received a grant, or are you in the process of writing a grant proposal? Let us bring our expertise of science, technology, and evidence-based methodologies to your project!

Smart Networks

ATX Science uses leading-edge technologies to develop smart networks. We can build customized sensors to measure applicable criteria for any project. A custom built sensor can deliver real-time data by utilizing existing wireless infrastructure. Or, we can deploy a customized and reliable wireless network that maximizes the data gathering potential of your project's remote geographic area!

Our Story

Educating, advocating, elevating, and building smart systems since April 2024.

  • March 2023

    NSF Regional I-Corps

We began our entrepreneurial journey as a team with a solution to a problem that not many people wanted to solve. Fortunately, we took our first steps into systematic customer discovery, value propositions, and learning how to find the "hair-on-fire" problems of the market at the NSF Regional I-Corps Program. We completed the March Cohort successfully and received our first $10,000 Faculty Innovation Accelerator Program (FIAP) grant, disclosed intellectual property of the proprietary algorithm we had begun with, and in partnership with Texas State University our first invention patent was filed.

  • February 2024

    NSF National I-Corps

We applied for and were accepted for the Winter #2 2024 NSF National Cohort. Still with our original product concept in-hand, this would be the experience that transformed our understanding of the customer discovery process, value proposition validation, and what it means to have a product that is market ready. We interviewed 100 transportation professionals from the private sector to every level of the Department of Transportation. After successful completion of the NSF National I-Corps program we received a $50,000 NSF grant, and we had a radically improved understanding of who the market is that we are serving, and how to effectively pursue a product that meets their needs and exceeds expectations.
